چکیده
Sweet sorghum bagasse (SSB) is potential feedstock for bioethanol production due to its natural abundance and high cellulose content (> 40%). This work compared the impact of three variables relative enzymatic hydrolysis SSB kraft pulp. The were biosurfactant from lignin derivative known as amphiphilic derivatives (A-LD), enzyme loading level, time. These optimized by response surface methodology (RSM) with a Box-Behnken design (BBD). concentration polyethylene glycol (PEG) 4000 was also compare it A-LD performance in process. After optimization, produced higher reducing sugar yield (RSY) (99.45%) than PEG 4000. difference predicted versus experimental values RSY less 4%, which means that model highly predictive. adequacy confirmed regression value close 1 assisted test. result implies significantly improved enhance RSY. Moreover, BBD adequate useful identify optimum surfactant.

The chemical composition, hydrolysis products, and kinetics during liquid hot water pretreatment of sweet sorghum bagasse (SSB) and eucalyptus wood chips (EWC) were investigated. Under optimal conditions, a total xylose recovery of 79.6% and 55.6% for SSB and of 74.9% and 84.4% for EWC was achieved after pretreatments in a step-change flow rate reactor (184 °C, 20 ml/min, 8 min, and 10 ml/min, ...
